8월 감사 바스켓 – 폭염, 작은 실패, 그리고 고마운 순간들

8월은 폭염과 작은 좌절이 있었지만, 카페의 여유와 산책 속 풍경 같은 소소한 순간들이 감사로 남았습니다. 일상 속 작은 기쁨을 담은 바스켓과 함께 8월을 마무리해요.

8월은 폭염도 있었고,
기대했던 여행이 어긋나기도 했어요.
 
작은 오르락내리락이 이어지면서 마음이 쉽게 지치기도 했죠.
 
그래도 그 사이사이, 카페에서 마신 커피 한 잔, 잠깐의 풍경,
그리고 산책에서 얻은 여유가 있었어요.
 
뜻밖의 상황들이 발목을 잡기도 했지만,
돌아보니 감사할 일들이 여전히 제 옆에 있었네요.

August came with a heavy heatwave, failed trips,
and little ups and downs that wore me out.
 
But in between, there were small gifts—
coffee at a café, a quiet view, and peaceful walks.
 
Even when unexpected setbacks showed up,
I can see now that gratitude was still waiting for me in those moments.

8월 마지막 날, 감사 바스켓을 열어보아요.

8월 끝자락에 핀 수국 - 햇살에 물든 꽃잎이 오늘을 붙잡아 줘요 A hydrangea at the edge of August.- Sunlit petals holding on to today.

 

오후에 마신 녹차 라떼와 커피, 딱 좋았어요. Green tea latte and coffee hits just right in the afternoon.

 

소나무와 맑은 하늘, 구름이 느긋하게 흘러가요. Pine trees, clear skies, and clouds drifting slowly.

 

다양한 빵들이 기다리고 있네요.어떤 걸 먼저 먹을지 고민돼요. A selection of different breads waiting to be enjoyed. I can’t decide which one to try first.

 

온통 초록이라 눈이 쉬어가요. All green for my eyes to rest.

 

이런 순간만큼 좋은 건 없네요. There’s nothing like this moment.

 

책 속에서 잠시 다른 세상으로 빠져들어요. Books to get lost in for a little while.

분재 속에서 나만의 작은 탐험을 해요. Living a tiny adventure inside the bonsai.

 

이 풍경에서 느끼는 만족감, 말로 다 표현할 수 없어요. The contentment I feel from this view is beyond words.

8월이 이렇게 지나가네요. 폭염과 작은 좌절도 있었지만, 카페에서의 여유, 산책 속 풍경, 식물과 함께한 순간들 덕분에 감사한 마음으로 마무리할 수 있었어요. 매일의 작은 순간들을 담는 것이 이렇게 소중하다는 걸 다시 느낍니다.
